Wow!! They turned out GREAT!!! I’m really impressed with teh painting job, too. Great paint coverage there. Caleb is so cute and serious in that painting picture. Heehee.
my favorite is the rolling pin pic…I love the excitement on his face. he’s such an eager helper in the kitchen these days. and yeah…he takes painting and such very seriously!
uhh, Jeannette, about that paint coverage…true confessions here, I filled in the edges. I guess that shows my control freak side of not letting the kids 100% do it on their own. But also once Caleb saw me do the edges he started doing the edges on his too. But I kind of set the pace of perfectionism. oops. Oh and I think I had just as much fun painting them as the kids did. I’m thinking I might make more and make a garland with them sometime…I love the colors.
[...] cut up Caleb’s piece of artwork he painted after he finished decorating the ornaments, and put those in the picture section of the tins. I love how each one turned out differently. [...]
I enjoy all types of creating and crafting and want this to be a place to remember what I've done and to develop new ideas. From sewing, to quilting, to decorating, to general craftiness, I hope this blog will help encourage me and others to create more. And of course I won't be able to resist including pictures of my two sweeties. Enjoy!
fun pictures, michelle! i have been thinking about crafts i can do with my kids over their break…
