Fabric Sale Saturday!

Filed under: being crafty — by michellew @ 9:10 am

I heard from a friend that the Chattanooga Theatre Center is having this incredible fabric sale Saturday morning.  (that’s Sat.  June 21st from 9am – 1pm)  They are selling off yards and yards of vintage and new fabric all for $1 a pound!  They are also selling over 1,000 patterns, $2 each or 3 for $5.  Its being held in the lobby of the Theatre Center.  I called over there (596-4934) and talked to the guy in charge.  He said their previous seamstress just retired after 30 years and they are cleaning out all of the fabric she stashed over the years.  He said theres tons of vintage fabrics some dating back to the 20s!  Ok, needless to say, I’m pumped.  Anyone want to come with me?  Bob says I have to set a budget, of course I will, but I’m sure it’ll be so much fun.  Leave a comment or email me if you want to come along.
